Got the same king room with balcony and view booked online, truly enjoyed that. The hotel was in a stunning and magnificent position short walk to the ferries for Studland Bay, the ferry dock and the sandy beach.

fine views and easy access to sandbanks beach and harbor
I really enjoyed my stay with a beautiful harbour view room where I could relax on the balcony and enjoy the amazing scenery. The short walk to the lovely Sandbanks Beach made my weekend city strolls good.

Good location, hotel is a bit tired but still a nice hotel. Breakfast was good. Parking was well organised. Room was ready on arrival.
Paid for a harbour view and got a car park view. No air conditioning. Lift a bit small.

Breakfast is plentiful and well cooked. The location is wonderful and the dining room affords views over Poole Bay.
The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant prices are not commensurate with a property in need of modernisation.

the beach was not too crowded and weather was great
Our stay was too short. We didn't want to stay longer. There is no air conditioning in our rooms and the windows could only be opened a little.

Great view and location, spa was good, breakfast had everything.
Evening meal choices could have been a little more.

Stunning location, beach, boats and water. Sitting on this terrace in summer is adventurous. Sailboats and motorboats pass almost by the table. The breakfast is not only the most varied I have ever had in the UK, but also the best. The dinner is fun, good food, good wines. Very good staff. Bus and ferry stop around the corner.
The bar is a bit stale. Not even the huge windows make up for that.

For a nice break with great views
The breakfast buffet was amazing, a real spread of everything, couldn't believe the choices! Just sitting outside with a view of the beach while having brunch made it worth it, felt I was on top of the world!
Now, it wasn't exactly cheap, but for the location and the view, I guess it was reasonable.
